Welcome to SynRBL, a Realtime Blackhole List powered by Xeams, provides free access to its DNS-based Block List (DNSBL) to effectively block email from more than 12 million host servers known to disseminate spam, phishing attacks and other forms of malicious email. The list typically includes email servers suspected of sending or relaying spam, servers that have been hacked and hijacked, and those with Trojan infestations. In an attempt to provide preemptive protection, SynRBL also lists servers with dynamically allocated IP addresses.
Approximately 14.5 billion spam emails are sent each day globally. While most spam traffic is stopped at the SMTP level, spam still makes its way into peoples inboxes. We have created this RBL service as an extra means of protection. Any IP addresses that pass through the SMTP layer will be blocked if they match a blocked IP addresses submitted to SynRBL.
